Bluesky Design – 2 Hardman Street, Manchester

Mid-pandemic, Bluesky Design were given the exciting opportunity to reimagine a prominent site at 2 Hardman Street in the heart of Spinningfields in Manchester. Their client, HANSAINVEST, wanted to break free from the corporate look, and deliver a new vision to the marketplace by creating an ‘informal comfortable welcoming environment’.

The scope of works covered the 4,000 sq ft ground floor reception and extended out to the basement carpark where a new wellness facility was to be introduced including bike store, showers and yoga studio. Inside, a new reception and café bar was developed to be used by the building’s tenants and wider business community.

The project was completed to stringent environmental standards and achieved a BREEAM status of ‘Very Good’.
