Bisley

Mixology23 Manufacturer of the Year

Outline by Bisley - Palest Pink

For over eighty years Bisley has been quietly creating innovative products that meet the evolving needs of our working world. Today, Bisley combines this spirit of innovation with collective knowledge. They’re unashamedly passionate about furniture solutions – it’s at the heart of everything they do.

Proclaiming their furniture to be ‘Made for Life’, Bisley strives to embody this ethos through all parts of their manufacturing processes and company culture. At their UK-based manufacturing facility, all process waste including steel and wood offcuts is captured and segregated for appropriate disposal or recycling. Their wood waste is also mostly repurposed internally to produce pallets. In terms of cardboard and plastic wrap waste, these components are collected and baled onsite then sold back to Bisley’s packaging suppliers. Revenues generated through these initiatives are fed into Bisley’s charitable donation fund which support a variety of local causes. Bisley’s design process builds in recyclability through ease of product disassembly and separation of materials at end-of-life. A high level of modularity in Bisley’s products also enables users to renew an existing product or create an entirely different look through the exchange of doors and configuration of internal fitments.

The manufacturer rebranded themselves recently through the creation and launch of their Bisley Shop e-commerce site and operationally, to successfully attract a new audience – the consumer. 100% Made in Britain, Bisley has two factories where they manufacture all their products.
