BDP is a collective of designers, architects, engineers, and urbanists who employ talented creatives at every level. At the heart of the company’s ethos is a collaboration, meaning that its designers are not restricted to the opportunities available in the office, but have access to opportunities that span BDP’s international reach. Whilst strengthening the people-focused company heart, this also benefits BDP’s clients, designers, and projects – fostering innovation and diversity. This year marks the 62nd anniversary of the company and celebrates the 50th anniversary of BDP Design. The latter, formed in 1973, has grown into a highly commended creative practice that spans a large breadth of sectors – from workplace and education, to residential and retail, to healthcare and heritage. The design team has grown to a 100-strong team with members situated in London, Manchester, Bristol, Glasgow, Cardiff, and the new Toronto studio.
