Prompted by a relocation, Eversheds Sutherland has implemented a new approach to the workplace that promotes agile working, focuses on employee well-being and establishes more direct physical and visual connectivity between floors in order to create a diverse working community that reflects the ethos and principles of the company.
The concept draws influence from the ‘Cityspace’ and aims to use elements from the urban landscape, in particular the industrial heritage, with exposed ceilings, metals and neutral tones as a backdrop. The surrounding landscapes around Manchester are dramatic, rich in wildlife and some of the most beautiful natural areas in England.
The use of biophilic design and natural materials such as timber throughout support the scheme to aid a sense of calm, bringing the outside in. This will allow elements of the mamucium concept to pop and contrast as a marriage of nature and industry.
