Tate & Lyle wanted to go beyond corporate theatre and create a dynamic modern working space through a refurbishment of its Marble Arch headquarters. BDG architecture + design brought a data- backed design approach, embraced the richness of a global mindset using its experience in workplace strategy and design in multiple international markets. The new office is a post-pandemic workplace that acknowledges the influence of working from home but gives staff the opportunity to connect, socialise and celebrate the Tate & Lyle brand together in one physical environment.
The design deftly reflects the return to in-person working and embraces contemporary ways of collaborating. The brief called for a design that distils the best of the company’s current working culture while inspiring and connecting staff to embrace ‘the art of possible’.
