Autex Acoustics

Mixology North23: Manufacturer of the Year

A leader in the field on an international scale, Autex Acoustics creates beautiful acoustics for spaces where people live, work and learn. Its acoustic solutions are designed to reduce and control reverberation and echo in building interiors, creating comfortable, acoustically balanced environments. The Autex Acoustics range offers a variety of treatments including wallcoverings, panels, baffles, and screensu2014easily customized to fit the requirements of your space. Autex Acoustics’ intelligent, sustainable solutions not only integrate into different architectural contexts, they also contribute to greater wellbeing and performance in working environments.

From a sustainability perspective, Autex Acoustics continues to fight climate change by actively monitoring its carbon emissions and being committed on its carbon net zero carbon mission. In 2017 Autex began carbon accounting for its core manufacturing facility in New Zealand, however, as its operational footprint is global, the company decided to extend the scope of its carbon accounting efforts to all global operations a couple of years later. Today, its GHG emission profile is 8,955 CO2, the equivalent annual emissions of 1,767 passenger vehicles (source: EPA GHG Calculator). Alongside monitoring its emissions, the manufacturer’s Carbon Neutral Product Initiative assesses the carbon emissions generated by the supply, manufacture and delivery of its products, and offsets them through the purchase of certified carbon credits. It also encourages best practice and sets the bar high as a product supplier in the building industry.
