Arper – Lepal

Mix Awards 24: Product of the Year – Seating

Text provided by Arper

Lepal is a new ergonomic armchair designed by Doshi Levien for Arper, ideal for conversation, reading or work across public and private settings. Lepal balances comfort with ergonomics to functional and aesthetic effect. A sculptural profile and soft cushioned seat create a dynamic contrast with a soft interior space and high curved back, generating a beautiful expressive piece with a strong identity. Lepal is an ergonomic armchair that accommodates both upright seating and gentle restfulness, while offering sturdy, yet light support for privacy. It is ideal for conversation, reading or work across public and private settings.

Designed for any space, the elegant monochromatic look of Lepal has options for single or bi-material upholstery, and a metal or wood base. The collection is FSC-certified and its metal base is powder-coated. Detailed upholstery and internal components are put together without the use of glue, making the product fully disassemblable and ready for recovery and reuse prior to end of life recycling.
