Amtico – Décor Collection

Mixology23 Product of the Year: Flooring

Amtico-Decor-Collection-Flooring-Award-Mixology-North22-Awards-Mix-Interiors-3

Décor comprises individually, precision cut pieces of Amtico’s premium Signature LVT, bevelled and hand assembled into intricately designed tile modules. Décor’s hand-crafted aesthetic is combined with modern technology, expertly designed and made in Britain.

For added peace of mind, the surface coating has been enhanced with high-performance antimicrobial technology, which reduces the presence of bacteria, including MRSA and E. coli, by 99.99% when compared with standard products of similar construction and type. The active ingredient, ionic silver, has been used throughout history to prevent the spread of bacteria and is present in the flooring’s wear layer. In addition, Amtico’s products containing the antimicrobial additive have now been tested against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, and have been shown to reduce its presence on a surface by 85.5% in 24 hours (compared to a control without the additive) and by more than 99.9% against the initial inoculation.
