AECOM ID+S delivered a timeless executive headquarter design for one of the world’s premier commercial clients, set within an iconic London landmark. Spread across two levels and connected by a feature staircase, the executive spatial experience is inspired by the firms aspirational and progressive values. Featuring state of the art boardrooms, meeting rooms, dining rooms, offices, and lounge settings, AECOM ID+S provided the firms executive board and distinguished guests with a variety of transitional settings.

The timeless design of the project is elevated through a careful curation of the brand’s heritage artwork, while the use of premium finishes sourced locally and within the EMEA region ensure the design to stand for decades to come. The use of locally sourced FSC certified, crown-cut timbers is applied across the joinery extent, and any offcut discards were used in Day Two additional works, furthering the approach in achieving minimal waste for the project. Travertine, Palissandro and Alabaster stone is used sparingly for a long-lasting and resilient premium finish for low-traffic areas such as the staircase, while stone offcuts are fully utilised for near zero stone waste and upcycled into coasters and decorative accessory plinths. A feat of design and construction ingenuity, the resulting completion of the project celebrates AECOM’s embodied attitudes to innovation, sustainability, inclusivity, accessibility and stakeholder engagement.
