AECOM – HMRC Belfast

HMRC Belfast Erskine House is the new prestigious home of the Northern Ireland Office. Developed by AECOM, the ambition for the project was for all users to feel represented and for the fit-out to fundamentally change the perception of what Government and HMRC workplaces and community can be.  

Internal finishes, fabrics and equipment has been chosen based on quality. Frame-work agreements with suppliers have resulted in in value rather than cost. Rich textiles and vibrant colours have been accompanied with muted finishes, and all sustainably sourced quality materials have been selected to enhance users’ daily experience visually, acoustically, and psychologically. 

Having achieved BREEAM ‘excellent’ rating, The Belfast Government Hub has already been awarded by the Construction Industry Council (CIC) for the application of Essential Principles for creating accessible and inclusive environments.
