Manchester-based PBSA specialist 74 were commissioned to design boutique amenity spaces for an interconnected student living complex located in the heart of Leeds. Retaining original features throughout, 74 have fully refurbished Leonardo, the Grade II-listed Victorian component of the project, the office block Thoresby, which carefully balances industrial design elements with contemporary insertions, and finally Spark, the most recent addition to the multiplex that serves a recreational purpose for both students and visitors.

Awash with light timbers, red accents and parquet floors, the project’s communal areas stem from a central courtyard entrance, which also contain the building’s concierge and management facilities, a variety of lounges, co-working areas, meeting rooms as well as health and fitness spaces.
