The layers of the earth serve as inspiration for the Strata collection and are clearly incorporated into the design. As a silent witness to their own evolution, the stratification in rocks and stones creates a robust play of lines – a symbol of timeless progress.
Strata’s line motif lives and breathes: with endless variation, the natural pattern creates fascinating markings on the floor. 2tec2 replaces fossil fuels in its yarns with a bio-based raw material, namely a plant-based raw material. Thanks to this step, 2tec2 no longer need to extract carbon. In addition to the top layer, the felt backing is comprised of recycled PET bottles which reduces sound by up to 22 dB.
