2tec2 is replacing the fossil fuels in its woven flooring with a bio-based and plant-based raw material. Thanks to this step, 2tec2 no longer needs to extract carbon from the environment. In addition to the sustainable top layer, the woven flooring’s felt backing is 70% made out of recycled materials; this acoustic layer comprises recycled PET bottles which reduces sound by up to 19 dB.
