Transforming post-consumer waste into something beautiful with Skopos
Eco credentials meet vintage aesthetics in the Eider Recycled Chenille collection.
Paid feature by Skopos Fabrics Ltd

Developed specifically for contract interior projects, Skopos has added a new line of upholstery fabrics to its Accents range: the Eider collection. This line of flame-retardant, recycled fabrics is crafted from post-consumer plastic, a significant step in an industry where the full lifecycle of contract textiles needs to be further considered in the move towards a more sustainable future.
Despite having its origins in hard, post-consumer plastics, the fabric of the Eider chenille still boasts a soft handle and smooth feel, marrying long-term durability with a soft, comfortable finish. The collection also features a halogen-free, flame retardant Crib5 backing, achieves 45,000 Martindale rubs, and meets the standards for UK and European flame retardancy and IMO requirements, making it suitable for marine or commercial cruise interiors.
By sticking to a succinct palette of twelve neutrals and understated tones, Skopos lets the boutique vintage feel of the collection speak for itself.
