Translating to ‘Mother Earth’, Gaia is the latest collection of upholstery fabrics to be added to Skopos’ portfolio. Comprised of 73% recycled polypropylene from recycled textiles, and 27% recycled polyester from post-consumer waste, Gaia offers a sustainable hardwearing solution and supports ambitions for environmentally-conscious interior textiles.
A soft and textured upholstery, Gaia presents a muted and earthy palette of boucle featuring 21 fabrics with dapples of tones to give a grainy and organic wool-like appearance to the quality. On the underside is a halogen-free backing made of Crib 5 cotton for full-flame retardancy.
