Reva Cocoon: new outdoor seating designed by Patrick Jouin for Pedrali

The latest in elegant outdoor furniture from Italian manufacturer, the Reva Cocoon sofas are made up of linear and corner elements and chaise lounges, with backrests in two different heights. Highly adaptable and configurable in a variety of ways to ensure maximum comfort and personalisation, Reva Cocoon stands out for its striking backrests in stainless steel woven with rope in weather-resistant polypropylene, for a truly natural appearance.

“My inspiration for Reva Cocoon is very simple, it’s happiness,” says designer Patrick Jouin. “We made a sofa which protects you, you can see through but at the same time you feel protected, you feel unique, you feel that the time has just stopped and slow and everything is just perfect around you.”

To enhance comfort and ensure greater seating depth, the high backrests of Reva Cocoon are defined by a double curvature embracing the perimeter frame in extruded aluminium, with four tapered legs in die-cast aluminium. The feeling of envelopment is enhanced by the soft cushions that rest on the structure and are available in different shapes: rectangular, square and round.

The cord element, made 100% in Italy by expert craftsmen, offers vital privacy, while keeping the piece of furniture airy and bright using a thicker weave in the lower part and a looser one in the upper section.

With its adaptable composition, the latest addition to the Reva family is designed to furnish gardens, terraces and halls of hospitality spaces – for those seeking a moment of relaxation and escape.
