United KingdomInspired by some of the most exclusive materials from around the world, Karndean builds on the popular Art Select collection by reimagining beautiful woods including European oak and English ash, as well as precious stones such as marble, onyx, Ceppo di Gré and quartzite. Karndean has reinterpreted these premium materials into practical formats suitable for a wide range of settings, from workplace and retail to hospitality and co-living. Available in a range of contemporary colourways and sizes, including a new slimline plank, a large herringbone size and a basketweave, the new Art Select range offers specifiers and designers a high-end finish and the opportunity to blend materials into their own bespoke designs.
From the light warm tones of Damask Oak and its natural unfinished effect to the opulent, deep colouring and striking veining of Corinthian Marble, the collection offers the flexibility to compose imaginative floors, whether that be recreating a historic aesthetic with contemporary materials or using conscious design to inspire wellbeing with organic, joyful spaces.
From the high contrast design of English Ash – available in four colourways as 48” x 4.5” strip wood planks – to a selection of characterful limed, washed artisan oak designs – in a choice of large 56” x 9” and herringbone 18” x 3” planks – 20 brand new wood designs help to create expressive interiors with a warm natural aesthetic and long-lasting elegance. Featuring either a hand scraped emboss to give the bevelled edge a distressed, undulating appearance or an authentic registered emboss with pin sharp definition, each design combines elegant aesthetics with the practicality of cutting-edge vinyl flooring.
