Belgium, London, DerbyImmersion is the latest carpet tile collection from IVC Commercial, available in three designs and made using Thrive matter – the world’s first negative carpet yarn.
Removing more CO2 from the atmosphere than it emits, Immersion creates a 3D effect through its textiles that appears constantly in motion, bringing a surprising and unexpected dynamic to the designs titled Alternate, Liberate and Animate.
In Alternate, generative high-low captures an incessant flux of movement; in Liberate, new wave technologies express digital freedom, while the constructed worlds of gaming and future-shaped architecture inspire the third design, Animate. In a shared palette of 18 vibrant and purposeful colours, Immersion’s collection can be mix and matched resulting in bespoke flooring options for designers.
Thrive® matter is third-party certified with 1.45kg of embodied carbon emissions for every 1 kg produced. This already low number is brought below zero by partnering with Carbonfund.org in support of forest conservation and reforestation projects around the world.
