Featuring a unique saddle seat and integrated cushion, HÅG Capisco Puls is a plastic chair that elevates workspace comfort and contributes to the wellbeing of its user. Designed initially in 1984 by Norwegian craftsman Peter Opsvik, the chair has been engineered to encourage natural movement and versatile seating positions, lending comfort and adaptability.
The saddle seat of the HÅG Capisco Puls creates an angle in the pelvis that places the user’s spine in a natural curve, aiding better posture and reducing strain in the lower back. The HÅG mechanism ensures balanced and controlled movement through the feet too, not only enhancing the users’ circulation but also minimising fluid retention in the lower limbs.
Whether working at a low desk or transitioning to a standing position, HÅG Capisco Puls can adjust to various heights, allowing the user to stay active and engaged throughout the workday while alleviating the strains of prolonged sitting. Adding to the chair’s flexibility, nine colourways are available – Black, Brown, Clay, White, Light Grey, Blueberry, Rosehip, Sand and Moss – with further opportunity to configure through choice of upholstery material.
Boasting a modest carbon footprint of 39.4 kg CO2 equivalents, Flokk‘s chair is comprised of 39% recycled material derived from post-consumer and post-industrial waste and 99% of the chair’s components are recyclable. Like all HÅG products, the chair has been designed for disassembly to enable easy repair and replacement of parts, and to maintain a circular economy.
HÅG Capisco Puls’ sustainable design and ergonomic functionality has achieved Greenguard certification and was declared it a ‘dependable and environmentally conscious addition to any workspace’. The black and brown finishes are made of 100% recycled post-consumer and post-industrial waste plastics.
