Fusion by Tarkett

Mixology North21 Awards Finalist – Product of the Year: Flooring

10/11/2021 1 min read

Created with today’s human-conscious workplace in mind, and mixing modernity and tradition, Tarkett Fusion brings together a combination of 100% recyclable carpet tiles and carbon negative linoleum to bring a contemporary touch to a historical backdrop, at the same time zoning spaces for increased synergy between colleagues. Tarkett Fusion is 100% recyclable into new flooring – as well as fully carbon neutral through Tarkett’s Carbon Consciousness programme, allowing for truly sustainable workplaces.

Fusion is a comprehensive catalogue of sustainable, practical and purposeful flooring solutions fit for today’s dynamic workplace. A key part of Fusion is Tarkett’s newly released carpet tile DESSO Serene and Serene Colour collections, which are Cradle to Cradle® Silver Level certified. The Serene and Serene Colour collections are produced with 100% regenerated ECONYL yarn and Cradle to Cradle® Gold level certified EcoBase® backing as standard.  This means that once the yarn has been separated, the backing is then also recycled and used to create more of our EcoBase® backing, and after the Econyl® yarn is processed, it is sent to Aquafil for regenerating into 100% recycled Econyl® – which can be used in new carpet tiles.
