Ege adds new ‘social’ colours to its Eco Collections
Inspired by the beauty of natural minerals, 56 colours by Margrethe Odgaard celebrates the true potential of flooring design and colour.

Designed by Danish textile designer and colour expert Margrethe Odgaard, the 56 ever-relevant floor surface colours complement and lift each other, and includes individual ‘diva’ colours that stand out clearly and add vibrant dynamics to the setting.
The 56 colours are offered in the Compact, Pro, Rustic (including Rustic carpet tiles) and Structure wall-to-wall collections that are all part of Ege Carpets’ Eco concept. The highly textured textile flooring is created from regenerated and regenerable yarn made from discarded fishing nets, industrial residues and used carpets.
“With this palette, I’ve sought to create naturally balanced colours with multiple layers below the surface. Colours for the floor must offer a degree of stability in the room because it’s where we set our feet,” comments Odgaard. “You have to trust them and feel secure when you enter the room.”
The generous number of mineral-inspired hues makes it possible to create an infinite number of combinations in which the colours relate and react very differently to each other – on the floor and in relation to the other materials used in modern interiors.
