UKDrift is designed for workers who require a tranquil space to help them escape a hectic office environment. The seating booth with integrated work surface has been developed with the diverse needs of employees in mind and with recognition of Connection’s responsibility to achieve a better environmental balance using the sustainable application of materials.
Made from lightweight PET materials derived from post-consumer waste sources, Drift buffers external noise and controls reverberation, concealing the user within a calm distraction-free zone. Coupled with the ethically sourced poplar plywood frame, Drift’s architecturally sympathetic form provides a stylish and purposeful space for creative brainstorming and concentration work.
With approximately 20% of the population estimated to be neurodivergent globally, Drift supports the needs of introverted workers who require more secluded spaces to escape noise and distraction. Specifiers can opt for numerous different setups in Drift, from one-seated sofas to two-seater benches with a centre table, up to a four-seater booth with power and HDMI connections.
The integrated writing tablets are available in white or black laminate with oak veneer tops while the acoustic fabric surrounding Drift comes in the following colours: Marble, Smoke, Bungaroosh, Palace Pink, Peace and Dusk.
