Today’s workplace increasingly takes tomorrow into consideration. The modern workspace therefore values mobile, modular and multi-functional furniture that allows adaptation as the workplace evolves – and with its arching frame, highly customisable accessories and sturdy castors, Dams Furniture’s latest range ticks all the boxes for any office designed with the future in mind. Show’s adaptability lends itself to any space, from meeting rooms and breakout spaces to training courses and beyond. Whether users are planning a brainstorm in the boardroom or a conference in the cafeteria, Show can accommodate a diverse range of workplace needs.
As well as a choice of tables and a mobile caddy, the Show collection boasts a choice of accessories including a planter box, artificial plants, whiteboards, cube storage, upholstered cubes, a TV unit, power bar, acoustic panels and wooden storage. All wooden components are made with FSC-certified wood, come with a five year product guarantee and are available in three wood finishes: White, Onyx Grey and Kendal Oak. Acoustic panels are available in an even broader range of colour finishes, including Dark Green, Dark Grey, Silver Grey, Dark Blue, Orange, Red and Yellow.
The variety of accessories makes Show highly multi-functional
“Our concept was to create agile furniture that was stylish yet multi-functional,” explains Robin Baines, product designer at Dams Furniture. “In the initial stages, I found inspiration in the playground swing and the arching frame became the backbone of Show’s mobile frame. From this, we developed the crossbars, positioned in a way that allows for accessories to be suspended and switched out as required. The accessories themselves then became easier to conceptualise – planters, acoustic panels, whiteboards, media units…users can buy any number of accessories and reconfigure them as many times as required. When we create a product, we don’t just focus on the product itself – we focus on its potential, what can be developed even after the initial launch. Show, in both design and in use, is truly ready for anything the future may bring.”
