Constructing future-proof interiors with Spaces by Connection

Supporting more modes of working, learning and socialising, Connection’s modular furniture system offers a solution for our increasingly fluid space requirements.

Paid feature by Flokk

Designed by Flokk-owned brand Connection, the Spaces system was created as a progressive solution for creating future-proof spaces, whether that be in the workplace, education or hospitality. In recent years, how space is perceived and used has transformed entirely: gone are the days of one-use, fixed spaces, and in their place is a desire for infinitely more flexible environments that support all styles and modes of working, learning, socialising and relaxing. The answer to this fluidity lies in creating systems that can be easily adapted and reconfigured to suit ever-changing space requirements. Conceived with interior designers and architects in mind, Spaces therefore provides a simplistic, but not limiting, furniture system that enables users to create customisable and adaptable spaces, anywhere.

Inspired by primitive structures, traditionally used by nomadic cultures to define areas of shelter, escape or dwelling, Spaces champions these same orthodox principles to create a definite demarcation of space within a multitude of settings. Simplicity is at the core of the system, with each configuration sharing a common design specification, building up from the core aluminium structure. Custom configurations are shaped by adding multiple walls, ceiling, screens, and extension options, while the extensive breadth of material options allows designers the creative freedom to conceptualise and personalise their ideal space.
