Beam and Braid ComfortWorx by Shaw Contract

New carpet tile styles Beam and Braid were introduced to Shaw’s Suited collection in Summer 2021, and have already become a popular choice with designers.

Taking cues from the feeling of purpose and community that is associated with the skills of weaving, braiding and crafting, the collection provides the designer with a contemporary look that offers texture and interest across the commercial sectors.

Beam and Braid were also the first to be introduced with Shaw Contract’s new ComfortWorx backing as an option from launch, providing both underfoot and acoustic comfort. This new backing is made with 90% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles.

The collection has been optimised for low embodied carbon and is a carbon neutral collection, made in Scotland and features EcoSolution Q100 yarn – a high performance fibre with 100% pre-consumer content.
