As well as offering lasting performance and versatile designs, the collection of lightweight carpet tiles features a new circular backing solution, which is made with recycled and renewed materials for improved sustainability. Made to be paired with the carpet tile designs in the Plus collection, the backing solution is made with polyolefin and bio-based materials and consists of 80% recycled and renewed materials. The result is a circular, lightweight backing solution that’s good for both planet and people, with both the patent and Cradle to Cradle certification currently pending.
Designer Joris Peutz created four different designs for the Plus collection – Monos, Artus, Forma and Textura – with a range of textures and hues that aims to enrich and elevate any interior design concept. Monos injects spaces with simple refinement, ranging from warm and earthy hues for an inviting ambiance and neutral, darker shades for calm inspiration to cool jewel tones that project modern sophistication. Artus’ patterns are inspired by textiles, offering a subtle nod to the rich textile history of Belgium, where the modulyss brand is rooted.
Forma & Artus’ shared colour palette ranges from warm, vibrant hues to neutral, darker shades that transition smoothly to cooler tones, meaning that the two pair well; with Artus softening modern spaces with an organic pattern and offering designers more creative versatility. Finally, Textura offers textured simplicity through a mini-tuft design with minimalistic colours, with dark neutrals, warm and cool greys, and cosy beiges adding a sense of calm and modernity to a range of spatial designs.
