This month we announce the much anticipated Mixology Awards Product Finalists 2021, our first of two roundtables discusses how Birmingham workplace can meet changed demands from a post-pandemic world, and we take a trip to Italy (figuratively speaking) at Eataly's new London venue. Elsewhere, we gather a team of designers, developers, agents and end-users to consider how we can create compelling destinations for employees to return to, we take a look inside HLW's incredible new space for Ninety One - and much much more. Each one of our covers is unique - we hand over the reins to a different designer and manufacturer each month, making our print magazines a work of art in themselves. Thanks to Conran and Partners and Autex Acoustics for this month's sculptural cover design.
Designer
Conran and Partners: Based on the proportions and geometric rhythm of the Autex panels, our cover takes inspiration from the folded structure, interweaving the consistent angled stroke with opposing lines to form ‘MIX’.
Manufacturer
Autex: The image depicts a perfect marriage of form and function — the point at which Autex Acoustics’ solutions intersect. Acoustic panels folded like origami to create a vast sculpture wall, each peak and valley providing a unique point of interest, while the angular structure acts as a broadband acoustic absorber.
